Hello from Nic

As you may know, I took over Crackerjack from Kate at the start of August as Kate is having bub number two (due any day now). With the help of our lovely staff Susie and Mel, we've been busy over the past few months making a few changes. Most importantly, we've brought in quite a lot of new brands (which we'll continue to do) but you may notice that we've moved things around a bit, introduced the loyalty card, started the Facebook page, rolled out the Birthday List service, had a Family Fun Day and now we've started this blog.

Quite a few of our customers have asked how they can keep in touch if they aren't on facebook and this along with some e-mail blasts for those signed up to our distribution list seems the best way. You can visit here whenever you want or even better, leave your email address and receive notifications whenever we post a new blog. You can even follow the blog, either anonymously or publicly. And if you do follow us on facebook, you'll probably find this blog quite useful as an additional source of information as we tend to keep things brief on there to avoid annoying people with constant updates.

We'll  use this blog to let you know what new stuff has come in, how it works, what it looks like, who its suitable for and generally give you some fresh ideas for presents. Hopefully, as we get closer to Christmas, this should be a really helpful resource for you.

Our focus here will be on providing more detail on specific toys. For starters, take a look at this pro-globe lamp. It's a globe that lights up and is a really good map in its own right but it also has pictures of animals and sights. When the light is turned on, more creatures appear in the ocean. It can be used as a night light for younger children and a reference tool for older children.

Globe's Diameter: Approx. 27cm
Item Size: approx. 38cm tall

This is a gift that will be treasured for years.

We'll continue to post regular updates on products, special offers, news and events, and hopefully even host our Christmas catalogue here! Looking forward to your participation, ideas and comments!
